A midrail can be added to storefront doors to seperate the glass into two pieces
so that the door(s) do not have just one big piece of glass.
A typical height of a midrail is between 2" - 5" and the typical width is whatever
the daylight opening is spanning horziontally.
It is possible to have many midrails per storefront door with different colors or
finishes.
Why Get Midrails
- If a piece of glass breaks then the cost of glass replacement is cheaper.
- To hide the look of a panic bar if you storefront door has one install on it.
- Architectural viewing purposes
